Delivering 7 Days a Week

Delivery Policy

Coronavirus Delivery Procedures.

We have adopted the “contactless” delivery method, upon arrival, the flowers are left at the door and we will ring the doorbell or knock to let the recipient know someone has been there.  This is a tough one for us, because it goes against everything we stand for, we take pride in our personalised service that we offer your customers and enjoy the friendly face to face contact with people, sadly it appears as if this will become the normal procedure for the unforeseeable future, fingers crossed not for long.

All of our vans are being cleaned and sanitised regularly and we are all washing our hands regularly and using hand sanitiser before and after each delivery and each collection from our shop.

Charge for local deliveries is $20.00

Ordering times: For same day delivery flowers, orders must be placed before 12.00pm Weekdays. We also deliver on Saturday mornings however orders must be in by 1:30pm the prior day for the Saturday delivery. We do not deliver on Sundays.

Delivery times: Weekday deliveries are made to business addresses before 5.00pm and to residential addresses before 7.00pm.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee specific delivery times or take bookings for particular times.

We do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.

If you would like a same day delivery and it is after the deadline, or need to organise a special delivery time, or rural delivery, please call the shop on 02 6249 1400

When we make a delivery, our goal is to send exactly the message you have in mind. So, the more information you can give us, the better. Just make a note of any special instructions and fill us in when you place your order.

We also recommend leaving your phone number, just in case there are any unforeseen hiccups, like if the recipient isn’t there when we arrive or if the courier thinks it would be unsafe to leave your gift. In those cases, it’s best to ask the courier to return the flowers to us. We’ll leave a calling card, of course, so the person knows we’ve been.

A standard charge of $20.00 will be charged for the re-delivery and our shop staff will make it a priority to contact you for instructions.

APARTMENTS WITH SECURITY ENTRANCES

We are often unable able to leave flowers outside security buildings with intercoms when the recipient is not home. In this case, we will return the flowers to the shop and attempt to re-deliver. We will attempt to contact the customer, and the recipient to make suitable arrangements for re-delivery.  A standard charge of $20.00 will be charged for the re-delivery.

GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

Occasionally, the security/reception staff at Government buildings refuse to accept flower deliveries when the recipient is unavailable. In these cases, we will attempt to contact the recipient. When we cannot contact the recipient,we will return the flowers to the shop and attempt to re-deliver. We will make every attempt to contact the customer and the recipient to make suitable arrangements for re-delivery.  A standard charge of $15.00 will be charged for the re-delivery.

RURAL DELIVERIES

Rural deliveries are only done in the afternoon and are subject to availability. It is very possible that we might not be able to do it!

The pricing on this site is for delivery in Canberra and suburbs as well as Queanbeyan only. It does not include Googong, Wamboin, Sutton, Murrumbateman or any other rural location. If the order is for a rural location, and we are able to do it, an additional charge of $20.00 or more will be added by our staff to the final cost.  Alternatively, please call the shop to arrange.

It really is best to call the shop to discuss rural deliveries!

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

Please be aware that some flowers are seasonal and may not be available for various reasons out of our control. A suitable substitution will then be made of equal or greater value.

FREE CHOCOLATE OFFER

Very occasionally, when we leave flowers in a suitable location due to the recipient not being home, the chocolates are either stolen or eaten by the neighbourhood pets! Whilst we try to leave them in a location where this cannot happen, sometimes it is beyond our control. Should the chocolates go missing, the recipient is welcome to pickup another box from our shop, or alternatively, we wil post another box out. Unfortunately, we are unable to use our same day courier in these cases.
