At Canberra City Flowers, we take great care to ensure your flowers arrive fresh, beautifully presented, and on time.
We proudly deliver 7 days a week throughout Canberra and Queanbeyan.
A standard delivery fee of $20.00 applies to local deliveries within Canberra and Queanbeyan.
We offer same-day delivery for orders placed before the daily cutoff time.
For urgent same-day orders placed after the cutoff, special timed deliveries, or rural deliveries, please call our shop on 02 6249 1400 and we will do our best to help.
Deliveries are generally made during business hours and into the early evening.
Business deliveries are usually completed before 5:00pm, and residential deliveries are usually completed before 7:00pm.
While we always do our best to meet customer preferences, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee specific delivery times.
If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, our driver will leave the flowers in a safe place where possible.
If it is not safe or appropriate to leave the flowers, they will be returned to the shop and we will contact either the recipient or the customer to arrange re-delivery.
A re-delivery fee of $20.00 will apply.
We recommend including the recipient’s phone number when placing your order, as this can be very helpful if there are any delivery issues or access problems.
For apartments, units, or buildings with security access, we may not be able to leave flowers if the recipient is unavailable and access cannot be gained.
In these cases, the flowers will be returned to the shop and re-delivery will be arranged. A re-delivery fee of $20.00 will apply.
To help avoid delays, we recommend providing as much delivery information as possible, including building name, unit number, intercom details, and a contact number for the recipient.
Some government buildings, offices, and secure workplaces may refuse to accept flower deliveries if the recipient is unavailable.
If this happens, we will attempt to contact the recipient and/or customer to arrange an alternative. If the flowers need to be returned to the shop and delivered again, a re-delivery fee may apply.
Rural deliveries are subject to availability and are generally completed in the afternoon.
Our standard website delivery pricing applies to Canberra, surrounding suburbs, and Queanbeyan only. It does not include rural areas such as Googong, Wamboin, Sutton, Murrumbateman, or other outlying locations.
